Came here for brunch one Saturday with my girlfriend. It wasn't too busy and we were sat immediately. I had no idea about their brunch so I was pleasantly surprised when I found out how they do it. You order an entree AND you have access to the brunch bar with juices, pastries, crepes, fruit, etc. The crepes were awesome!

I ordered the shrimp and grits which was a pretty good serving for the price. She got the create your own omelet and it was so much she couldn't finish it. Love this place and would definitely come back for brunch again

Looks like a Friday's or Ruby Tuesday in downtown Lynchburg.

Great outdoor seating and excellent wait staff.

Soups, salads and burgers with some fun things like a funnel cake burger and pretzel bites.

Food didn't rate anything special, but worked well and the enthusiasm and attention of the servers counts.

There was a wait on Friday, Thursday was empty.

Great place to meet, star or end. Isn't the main act.

Edit! There really should be a neg option on here! I shouldn't have to give this restaurant even 1 star for receiving nothing!

Seems like it might be a nice place, but we wouldn't know! We were seated on the patio at 12:25 which had at least 2 servers working, plus bussers and a hostess helping. The patio was not slammed, there were 2 tables(4 and 5) and 3 with 2. I went to the bathroom, which took at least 10 mins because there was a line. When I returned, no one had approached my husband for drink orders yet. We sat for the next 10 mins watching the waitresses serve and bring checks to the other patrons, hoping that we would be next. I went in and asked a server at the cash register to get us help after a few more minutes of no one being out on the patio.

The two servers came out again, this time with a manager(or something, she was in plain clothes) to deliver food. Both brought tickets to the other customers at which time one of the waitresses bumped into one of the chairs at our table, said 'sorry' and walked away.

We looked at each other, laughed in disbelief and walked out at 12:55.

RA is my favorite restaurant in Lynchburg. The steak pasta is my go to for dinner and love their mimosas for weekend brunch. Servers have always been friendly and helpful.
It's a good place to take family and friends who are visiting because they have room for bigger parties and good food.

This was our first stop on our little two day getaway. It had hundreds of reviews and a 4 star average, but the thing that stood out the most was the location: right near The James River, where we would end up on a little walk afterwards. The location had inside and outside seating, with the outside atop a hill that led to the river but didn't give you quite the view I thought it would. Our waitress was straight shooter and not over the top friendly, which I absolutely appreciate. She also took the time to entertain my questions as to what there was to do in the area during the evenings. Our food took longer than expected, and the spinach dip app was lukewarm at best. Food was decent, but nothing special by any means. Just your average, luke warm Americana. Was really hoping for more. Ever other waffle fry I picked up was rock hard. Burger was eh. The waitress really carried this experience, so shout out to her!
